Ballet Memphis School kicked off The Nutcracker Youth Cast's fall rehearsal schedule with a Nutcracker-themed Acting Workshop run by Playhouse on the Square. This immersive experience was developed to inspire and refine the dancers' stage presence, guiding them to embody characters and ideas that they can use as they portray the beloved characters in The Nutcracker. The Youth Cast participated in character analysis, expressive movement, and stage presence enhancement exercises. Interactive group sessions fostered collaboration and prepared them for the performance ahead. The ultimate result was to infuse confidence, joy, and a lasting love for performance, ensuring a magical rendition of The Nutcracker by Ballet Memphis' Youth Cast.
